Summer School Events

In addition to the daily classes there is also a programme of events throughout the week, including workshops, concerts and ceilithe. There are also impromptu music, singing and set dancing sessions at various locations around the town.

Followed by wreath laying ceremony at graveside of the late Joe Mooney.

Official Opening of the Joe Mooney Summer School by Neilidh Mulligan, renowned uilleann piper.

Opening Concert:  “Mórtas Liatroma”  – celebrating 25 years of Ceolas Ceili Band.
Also featuring Roscommon’s newest trad group Gatehouse.
